Rebuilding the Beast: Learning to Move at Half Speed & Previewing Our Green Joy x King Palm

In this week’s episode, I’m finally—slowly—starting to get back into the swing of things at work.

It’s officially been a little over a month since I’ve been out, and even though I’m still not weight-bearing, the world keeps moving… and so do the projects I set in motion before my accident.

After a whole hunt for the right provider, insurance drama, and rescheduling, I’m supposed to start physical therapy this week. (Key word: supposed.) Recovery is still a full-time job… but so is trying to honor my commitments while giving my body the time it needs to rebuild.

This chapter isn’t just about mobility or work updates — it’s about learning how to move at half-speed without losing momentum, and how to show up for the things that matter while still choosing myself.

In this vlog, I’m sharing:
• Easing back into work for the first time
• Visiting the Green Joy cultivation facility
• Previewing our new Green Joy x King Palm collab
• Seeing the strains, the process, and the product up close • What happened with my failed first PT appointment
• Reflections on limitation, output, and surrender
• Time with my kids and the reminder that healing doesn’t run on a business timeline This week showed me that healing isn’t linear — and neither is returning to “normal.”

Some days feel productive, some days fall apart, and some days are just quiet enough for me to hear what my body’s been trying to tell me.

If you’re in a season where you’re trying to rebuild and keep things afloat at the same time,

I hope this episode reminds you: Go slow. Go steady. Go honestly. One day at a time is still progress.

🜂 Keep alchemizing.
